Das Projekt hat das Ziel, aus einem Bewerberpool von ca. 250 Jugendlichen und jungen arbeitslosen Erwachsenen mit einfacher Behinderung, bis ca. 65 Teilnehmer/innen für die Beteiligung am Projektvorhaben zu gewinnen und durch die Teilnahme an dem Mobilitätsprojekt deren Chancen für die Integration in den ersten Arbeitsmarkt sowie weiteren beschäftigungsrelevante Maßnahmen, durch Aufwertung der persönlichen Lebensläufe zu erhöhen. Das Projekt umfasst für den jeweiligen Austausch insgesamt 6 Monate. In der Vorbereitungszeit werden die Teilnehmer durch gezielte Trainings (Sprache, Kultur, soft skills) auf den Auslandsaufenthalt vorbereitet. Die Entsendung erfolgt nach Polen, Italien und Tschechien für eine Dauer von 1-3 Monaten. Entsprechend der gegebenen Profile absolvieren die Teilnehmer/innen entweder ein entsprechendes Workcamp oder aber ein Praktikum in einem Unternehmen im Gastland. Im Falle von Polen, Tschechien und Italien wird die sprachliche Ausbildung fortgesetzt. Nach der Rückkehr aus dem Ausland werden die Teilnehmer/innen in einer aktiven Coachingphase in beschäftigungsrelevante Maßnahmen integriert bzw. erfolgt eine aktive Vorbereitung und Begleitung der Integration in den Arbeitsmarkt.
Die nationalen Partner des Projektvorhabens sind in Eigenregie für die Durchführung verantwortlich. Der Projektverbund setzt sich zusammen aus einer Grundsicherungsstelle (Jobcenter Sächsische Schweiz - Osterzgebirge) und einem auf die Arbeit mit Behinderten und sozial Benachteiligten spezialisierten Verein (Atze e. V.) sowie einem Erfahrungsträger aus dem Programm IdA (bsw gGmbh) als Koordinator.
Im Rahmen des Gesamtvorhabens sind folgende begleitende Maßnahmen geplant: 2x jährlich Vernetzungstreffen auf Bundesebene (gegebenenfalls Beteiligung der transnationalen Partner), 2x jährlich Hospitation der transnationalen Partner und der dortigen Arbeitsmarktakteure, 2x jährlich Workshops zu arbeitsmarktrelevanten und zielgruppenspezifischen Themen in Deutschland auf Landesebene, unter Beteiligung der transnationalen Partner, Arbeitsmarktakteuren aus den Partnerländern des Verbundes sowie Selbsthilfeorganisationen. 1x jährlich Beteiligung an einer Konferenz auf europäischer Ebene.
